Kenneth S. Alleman Appointed Credit Administration Manager

East Lansing, Mich. (June 20, 2012) Christopher G. Nugent, Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of Summit Community Bank, has named Kenneth S. Alleman to the position of credit administration manager. The job oversees the credit risk management division of Summit Community Bank.

“As we continue to grow our loan portfolio, Ken brings a strong professional background to this important assignment,” Nugent said. “He is a seasoned financial management professional, and has practical experience in various areas of accounting and finance within the commercial banking industry.”

In his new post, Alleman will focus on the Summit Community Bank commercial loan portfolio. He will be responsible to develop, revise and execute loan policies and procedures. Alleman also will provide policy recommendations and be actively involved in addressing various loan relationships. “His strong skills in field auditing, credit analysis and general accounting are a solid asset for our customers,” Nugent added.

Alleman brings over 25 years of experience to Summit Community Bank that most recently included stops at Lenders Solutions, Inc., and Bank of America. His career is highlighted by his work as a field audit manager overseeing auditors and outside independent examiners in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.

Alleman earned his MBA at the University of Detroit and an undergraduate degree from Wayne State University. Active in his community, Alleman is past president and treasurer of the Livingston/Oakland County Travel Baseball League, and past board of director member of South Lyon Baseball. He is married with three children.
