Kincaid-Smith Joins Summit Community Bank

East Lansing, MI (February 2, 2009) – Summit Community Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Janet E. Kincaid-Smith, Esq., as Compliance Officer for the bank.

Ms. Kincaid-Smith began her legal career in 1989 at the Office of Thrift Supervision in Washington, D.C. She later moved to the Office of Comptroller of the Currency in 1991 working in the Enforcement and Compliance Division and later in the Bank Activities and Structure Division as a senior attorney.


Receiving her Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia Law School, Janet also graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.  She is admitted to practice law in Michigan.
