Adam Goss, Denise Kratzer Promoted to Vice President

East Lansing, Mich. (August 6, 2012) John W. Abbott, President and Chief Executive Officer of Summit Community Bank, announced the appointments of Adam Goss to Vice President, Relationship Manager, and Denise Kratzer to Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer for the Bank. “It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce the promotions of two well deserving individuals that serve Summit Community Bank, our customers and the community,” Abbott said.

Denise Kratzer
With over 13 years in commercial lending, Kratzer has made a career in banking. Prior to joining Summit Community Bank in 2006, she worked for a regional bank in Ann Arbor and Chicago. Kratzer provides financing for commercial real estate and businesses in the Greater Lansing area.

Kratzer received her MBA in finance from Eastern Michigan University, as well as her bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is currently on the board of directors and acts as treasurer for the National Association of Career Women and sits on the board of directors for the East Lansing Art Festival. As a Lansing native, Kratzer resides in Holt, MI.

Adam Goss
Goss began his career with Summit Community Bank in 2007 as the Okemos Market Manager. Prior to joining Summit Community Bank, Goss worked as a personal banker for a large financial institution within the Lansing and East Grand Rapids districts. Goss has specialized training in commercial credit and cash management.

As an Okemos native, Goss is a graduate of Okemos public schools. He earned a degree in economics and management from Albion College, in Albion, MI. In the community, Goss is active in the Okemos Education Foundation (OEF) and is a member of the Haslett/Okemos Rotary Club and the Meridian Area Business Association. He also sits on the board of directors for Old Newsboys of Lansing and the Burcham Hills Foundation.
